Unaired interviews with Jacqueline Kennedy will finally make it to television this fall.
Viewers will hear recollections and reflections from the former First Lady during seven conversations with historian Arthur M. Schlesinger Jr. in spring 1964.
The interviews included Jacqueline Kennedy’s impressions of life with husband President John F. Kennedy and covered historic events like her husband’s early campaigns to the Cuban Missile Crisis to the last days at the White House.
ABC News’ Diane Sawyer will anchor the series of special reports across all ABC News broadcasts and platforms, which will also include an interview with Caroline Kennedy, where they will talk about the never-before-heard interviews.
A special primetime hour dedicated to the Jacqueline Kennedy interviews will air this September. Reports will be broadcast on programs such as World News With Diane Sawyer, Good Morning America, Nightline and This Week With Christiane Amanpour, as well as on radio.

Thank you to the Production Design and Art Department of NBC/Univeral's HEROES for specifying their fine art from our Plush Home gallery. We've had a fun year of seeing our pieces on the screen (Curb your Enthusiasm, Mastercard, Brothers & Sisters, Got Milk?) and are looking forward to debuting new furniture stars next year.
