Nina Petronzio

HIRE THE DESIGNER, NOT JUST THE FIRM

The design process, to a great extent, is a personal service business, where personal chemistry and relationships matter. Clients who work with Nina Petronzio are confident of who will be on the other end of the phone when they call with a question and whose professional judgment will be guiding the work done and the decisions made.

They hire the designer, but also have the assurance that she has capacity, resources, infrastructure, and backing of a world-class design firm and furniture manufacturing company that can properly represent major accounts.

Nina Petronzio co-founded the full-service interior design firm and luxury furniture line Plush Home Inc. with Steven Ho in 2003.  Based out of its celebrated Melrose Avenue showroom in West Hollywood, and with design center representations in Chicago and Denver, Nina’s interior designs and furnishings have an international clientele which ranges throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia.

Daughter of renowned sculptor Robertino Petronzio, Nina cites her European roots and family background as a basis for her work. Though each of her projects varies in style and usage, the one constant is a classic yet updated sensibility, a loyalty to clean lines, and an exquisite choice of materials.

“I become inspired through my client’s personal tastes. I take pride in being able to express their individuality through my own eyes” she says.

With her beginnings in luxury residential and commercial properties, Nina’s diverse portfolio includes the 2001 complete remodel of Mark Wahlberg’s 15,000 square foot Beverly Hills ranch style residence, Brillstein Entertainment’s contemporary-chic New York office in the Tribeca Building, Leonardo DiCaprio’s production offices in Los Angeles, and a renovation and design of Neve Campbell’s charming 1800’s London residence.

It didn’t take long for Nina’s steadfast clients and colleagues to spread the word about her bespoke furniture line. In the past decade, Nina’s Plush Home collection has been specified by influential interior designers, set decorators, and FF&E companies worldwide for important hotels, estates, and film & television productions.

With her fine hand-crafted furnishings specified for some of the world’s most acclaimed hotels (including Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Montage, Jane, W, Wynn, Intercontinental, Classic Residence by Hyatt, Fontainebleau, Omni), it was a natural progression for Nina to utilize the logistics department and manufacturing arms of her firm for high-end hospitality clients.

In November 2011, Nina was named the in-house interior designer for the Montage Beverly Hills.  In addition to design services, Nina’s firm additionally provides full FF&E purchasing and logistics, project management, and furniture manufacturing and maintenance for the 5-Star hotel.

The exclusive £10 Bar at the Montage Beverly Hills marks the first alliance between luxury designer and hotel.  And there’s much to celebrate with this association; this year £10 was named Best Bar in the World by leading luxury travel network, Virtuoso.  Other nominees were: Le Bar, Beau Rivage Palace, Lausanne, Switzerland; Hyde, The Bellagio, Las Vegas, Nevada; Lobby Bar, Grand Hotel Europe, an Orient-Express Hotel, St. Petersburg, Russia; Flair, The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong, China.

MISSION STATEMENT

Staying True to Our Founding Convictions

At Plush Home, we have grown our business by remaining true to a few, but very important founding principles.

To listen to what our clients have to say in order to allow us to understand what their near, mid and long terms goals are not only with regard to design, feel and style, but also with respect to their personal goals and their expectations relative to returns on investment and the like.

Establishing Deep & Personal Relationships with Our Clients

We endeavor to work collaboratively with our clients. Our clients are passionate about their projects, and a hallmark of our company and everyone working at Plush Home is that we are all passionate about our work and helping our clients become or remain “best in class.”

Providing Honest Advice without Committing the Designer’s Cardinal Sin

We are committed to providing honest, practical and novel suggestions and approaches to achieve your goals in the most impactful and efficient manner possible. However, we will not ever marginalize our clients when making critical design and FF&E decisions. We will never superimpose our vision at the expense of the clients’ aesthetic sensibilities or financial limitations or goals.

Holistic Approach to Design & Manufacturing

We consider a project or a relationship a success only when our clients feel we have helped them meet their design, financial, social and emotional goals.

Create Designs & Furniture that Stands the Test of Time

We are dedicated to designing and manufacturing our furniture and selecting fabrics that will be “timeless”, yet incorporate the most up-to-date requirements for our high net worth clients and all of the elements necessary to give our hospitality clients a product that meshes well culturally and geographically with luxury, lifestyle and individuality of their discerning guests.
